Summer Camp for Seers

By Sam Hendricks

Henry planned to spend his last summer in college holed up in the library, but his plans change when his tuition check bounces. He’s out of options until a friend offers him a job as a camp counselor at a resort in California. This gig will pay for the whole year, so he gladly ditches the books for a bus ticket to the camp amid stands of Sequoias along the edge of a sparkling lake. It seems like paradise, but Henry has no idea his crush can read his every thought and that he’s the only person in twenty miles who isn’t psychic. He soon discovers why he was chosen, and the danger that lies just out of sight. Forced to make a choice between the life he had always planned on or this strange new adventure, Henry finds himself in a battle with higher stakes than he bargained for.
